A repeatable framework for making analytical evidence legible.

1. Define the analytical question

We begin with the narrow claim at issue and separate identity, composition, concentration, purity, and specified screening questions. We do not infer health outcomes from analytical measurements.

2. Establish source hierarchy

We prioritize primary standards and metrology organizations, official laboratory guidance, published methods, and then high-quality secondary explanation. We link to the source readers can inspect and identify its publisher.

3. Evaluate fit

We examine sample identity, matrix, sampling, method scope, validation or verification, calibration, controls, units, reporting limits, uncertainty, and decision rules where those details are available.

4. Calibrate conclusions

Our wording follows the evidence. Missing information is described as missing—not silently converted into a pass, fail, safety conclusion, or allegation.

5. Maintain the record

Each article lists its references and update date. Broken links, source revisions, or factual concerns are reviewed through the corrections process.
